Full Monty

Based on the cult film of the same name, The Full Monty (nominated ten times to Tony Award), it is made with honest affection, engaging melodies, and the most expected closing number of any show. The powerful team of Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and David Yazbek (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels).

While spying on their wives at a “Girls Night Out,” a group of unemployed Buffalo steelworkers realize how much they enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, jobless, and feeling emasculated, the men invent a sassy, naked way to make some money. At first, they are extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they overcome their fear, shyness, and prejudice, they find that they are stronger as a group, and the strength, the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go".

The Full Monty is a story full of heart. Until the end, the audience will wonder if these adorable misfits will really achieve their goal. With a raucous mix of edgy humor and dynamism, this heartwarming and upbeat comedy is a must-have for any theater looking for huge success.
